What happens to the details you give us through this website. Short version: we use them only to reply to you, and we never sell or share them.
CTRL ROOM is an independent brand design house in India. For the personal data described here, we are the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@ctrlroom.co.in.
When you send a brief, we receive only what you enter:
If you email us directly instead, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
Only to read your enquiry, reply to it, and talk with you about the project, including sending a proposal if you ask for one. We do not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing or use your details for anything else.
We process it on the basis of your consent, which you give by pressing Send brief. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
The form sends your brief over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which passes it to us as an email. It is then kept in our email inbox, hosted by our email provider. Both handle it only to deliver and store our email.
Like any website, the services that deliver these pages, Cloudflare (hosting) and Google Fonts (typefaces), receive your IP address and basic browser details as a technical part of loading the page.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal data with anyone for their own use or for marketing. It goes only to the service providers named above, as far as they need it to deliver your message, or to an authority if the law requires it.
As long as we need it to reply to you. If we work together, we keep it for the project and for the records the law requires (invoices, for example). Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics on this site.

This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Email hello@ctrlroom.co.in with the subject "Delete my data", from the address you used. We will delete it and confirm by email within 30 days. If the law requires us to keep something, such as an invoice, we will tell you what and why.
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
